The Finnmark Designs FD-6 combination barrel sauna is an outdoor barrel that pairs Spectrum Plus infrared heaters with a traditional 4.5 kW heater, so you can run deep-penetrating infrared sessions or pour water over hot stones for steam. With the rock heater in use the sauna reaches 190 F.

The FD-6 is built from clear grade Western red cedar, with 1.5 inch thick full-length staves and dual-level cedar benches and backrests that stay cool to the touch. Cedar is naturally aromatic and antimicrobial. The FD-7 is the same barrel in Thermo-Aspen.

An 8mm tempered glass door and window panels with gaskets open up the interior. A complete shingle roof kit with barrier keeps the barrel dry, and the supports are stained and sealed shou sugi ban style. A built-in LCD touchscreen controller with Wi-Fi allows remote operation, with Bluetooth audio and an under-bench RGB LED light.

Infrared heaters are built into the barrel. Please confirm the traditional 4.5 kW heater and stone configuration with us before ordering.

Is the traditional heater included?

The infrared heaters are built in. Please confirm the 4.5 kW traditional heater and stone configuration with us before ordering and we will set it up correctly.

FD-6 or FD-7?

They are the same barrel. The FD-6 is clear grade Western red cedar; the FD-7 is thermally modified Thermo-Aspen.

Where do you ship and install?
