A wall-mounted heater with a full stone load
The DROP is HUUM's best-known heater: a rounded stainless cage that hangs on the wall and holds about 55 kg of stones in the open. That is more stone than most heaters its size, so the room gets soft, even heat and a long steam after every pour.
Because it mounts off the floor, the DROP suits smaller rooms and barrel saunas where floor space matters. It won a Red Dot design award in 2015.
More stone, softer heat
HUUM heaters hold their stones in the open, around and above the elements. A large stone mass heats the room evenly and gives a long, rolling steam when you pour, without the sharp sting of a small, hot pile.

HUUM designs and builds its heaters, stoves and UKU controls in Estonia. The DROP and CLIFF have both won Red Dot design awards.
Electric heaters and controls carry a 3-year limited warranty for private use (1 year commercial); heating elements are excluded.

Which size fits my sauna room?
The 4.5 kW suits rooms of 106–248 ft³ (3–7 m³), the 6 kW suits rooms of 177–318 ft³ (5–9 m³), the 7.5 kW suits rooms of 248–389 ft³ (7–11 m³), the 9 kW suits rooms of 283–460 ft³ (8–13 m³). Large windows, glass doors or an uninsulated room can push you up a size. Send us your room dimensions and we'll confirm.
Is a control included?
Needs a HUUM UKU controller (Wi-Fi or Local), sold separately. Every HUUM electric heater runs from a UKU control system: a main module that switches the heater and a wall panel. UKU Wi-Fi lets you start and schedule the sauna from the HUUM app; UKU Local runs from the panel and can be upgraded to Wi-Fi later.
Are sauna stones included?
Stones are sold separately. This heater takes About 55 kg / 121 lb (4 boxes of 15 kg). HUUM sauna stones come in 15 kg (33 lb) boxes, and we can add them to your order.
What electrical work is needed?
A licensed electrician must install the heater and the UKU controller. HUUM requires proof of a licensed installation for warranty claims. Use the breaker size listed for your model and check local code before booking the work. HIVE 12–18 kW heaters run on two circuits and need the extension box.
