The HUUM Hive Mini is a floor-standing heater built around stone capacity. It carries 140 kg (308 lb) of sauna stones, and that thermal mass holds heat longer, spreads it evenly and turns every pour into dense, lasting steam.
HUUM ranks it as the second most popular heater in its line after the Drop. It comes with UKU Wi-Fi control, so you can warm the sauna from your phone.
Thermal mass you can feel
The Hive Mini's big advantage is the weight of stone it carries. A large mass of rock retains heat for longer, distributes it evenly and keeps the room at a consistent temperature through a long session.
When water hits the hot stones, their large surface area produces rich, dense steam. That is the main difference between the Hive Mini and the Drop, even though their power ratings are similar.
Floor-standing, with an air tunnel
Like most HUUM heaters, the Hive Mini stands on the floor. The Drop is the one wall-mounted exception. An air tunnel speeds up heating time by 25% and prolongs the life of the heating elements, and a HUUM safety railing comes in the set.
The Mini name sets it apart from the larger Hive models at 12 kW, 15 kW and 18 kW. The Hive Mini comes in 10.5 kW.

How is the Hive Mini different from the Drop?
Mainly stone capacity. The Hive Mini holds 140 kg (308 lb) of stones against the Drop's 55 kg, which means longer heat retention and heavier steam. The Hive Mini also stands on the floor, where the Drop mounts on the wall.
How do I control the heater?
The set includes HUUM's UKU Wi-Fi control, so you can run the heater from your phone.
What electrical work is needed?
Electrical work must be done by a licensed electrician. Your electrician will set up the circuit to suit the heater and your home. Inland can help you size the heater to the room before you book the work.
