HUUM's beehive form, fired with wood
The HIVE Wood is a round steel stove with the same open stone mass as HUUM's electric HIVE. A 5 mm stainless flame tamer protects the top, and a 115 mm (4.5 in) flue connects to a standard sauna chimney.
The LS version is fed from an adjoining room, so you can keep firewood and ash out of the sauna.
More stone, softer heat
HUUM heaters hold their stones in the open, around and above the elements. A large stone mass heats the room evenly and gives a long, rolling steam when you pour, without the sharp sting of a small, hot pile.

HUUM designs and builds its heaters, stoves and UKU controls in Estonia. The DROP and CLIFF have both won Red Dot design awards.
Electric heaters and controls carry a 3-year limited warranty for private use (1 year commercial); heating elements are excluded.

Which size fits my sauna room?
The 13 kW suits rooms of 212–459 ft³ (6–13 m³), the 17 kW suits rooms of 283–565 ft³ (8–16 m³), the 17 kW LS suits rooms of 283–565 ft³ (8–16 m³). Large windows, glass doors or an uninsulated room can push you up a size. Send us your room dimensions and we'll confirm.
Are sauna stones included?
Stones are sold separately. This heater takes 90 kg / 199 lb for 13 kW, 130 kg / 287 lb for 17 kW (6 boxes for 13 kW, 9 boxes for 17 kW). HUUM sauna stones come in 15 kg (33 lb) boxes, and we can add them to your order.
What electrical work is needed?
A licensed electrician must install the heater and the UKU controller. HUUM requires proof of a licensed installation for warranty claims. Use the breaker size listed for your model and check local code before booking the work. HIVE 12–18 kW heaters run on two circuits and need the extension box.
